2nd and 3rd graders have been enjoying using our giant yarn ball for a pitch exploration activity called Toss Across. Students toss the yarn ball across the circle and sing the contour of the toss: low-high-low. This activity helps students sing in their head voice and gets them ready for the singing we are about to do.
I made the yarn ball for our classroom and you can make your own too!
